LYDIA’S CREEPY PREMONITION CERTAINLY DOESN’T BODE WELL FOR THEM
Scott and his pack are facing the toughest fight of their lives on Teen Wolf: Not only do they have theentire populationof Beacon Hills armed and ready to attack, but theAnuk-Ite has conveniently found its other half — which means Mr. McCall and crew have 99 problemstwo very, very huge obstacles to overcome.
First, let’s tackle the giant, pulpy body in the room: The Anuk-Ite has evolved into a super-sized monster with glowing eyes, one who literally turns you to stone if you look at it. How’s that for making you petrified (in more ways than one)?
Which leads us to the second issue. Naturally, Gerard has brokered a deal with the stone-cold killer (pun intended): The elderly hunter will weaken Scott with a powerful poison (thanks for that, Kate Argent), making it easier for the Anuk-Ite to kill him, and in turn, the monster will be granted its long-awaited freedom. Then, with the true alpha out of the way, Gerard will be able to set out on his original mission: offing the world’ssupernatural population with his army of hunters in tow. And that army, mind you, has already succeeded in killing one new member of Scott’s pack: Deucalion.
Will the rest survive against the all-powerful Anuk-Ite and Gerard’s growing army? Lydia’s creepy premonition of everyone being turned to stone — including Ethan, Jackson and one mass murderer by the name of Derek Hale — certainly doesn’t bode well for our friends.
Sound off with your thoughts, and stay tuned next Sunday at 8/7c for the final (all the tears) episode ofTeen Wolf.

It won’t be long now until Teen Wolf says its final farewell. And even though we know it will be an extended series finale, showrunner Jeff Davis says, “There were so many characters to wrap up. It was incredibly difficult [to write].”
It might not have been an easy process, but Davis is hopeful the ending will feel right. One thing he can promise? “It’s definitely not a cut-to-black [ending] like The Sopranos,” he says. “We tried to craft an ending that feels right for the audience and for the characters.”
More than anything, fans are anticipating the return of a number of characters, including Stiles, Derek, Kate, Jackson, and Ethan (who are now a couple, by the way). “It’s got all the characters back,” Davis says, adding, “Except for the ones who are unfortunately dead.”
Below, check out some exclusive photos from the series finale, including a few of those familiar faces.
Teen Wolf airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on MTV. (Reminder: The show isn’t on this weekend due to VMAs.)
|August 24, 2017||With Only 5 Episodes Left, Will ‘Teen Wolf’ Leav...|
Only five episodes remain for Scott McCall’s pack in Teen Wolf, and Season 6 has introduced new characters and new evils at a lightning-fast pace, sometimes to the point of confusion. With all of the wheels in motion, fans have to wonder if there will be time to conclude every plot, answer questions that are still hanging in the air, and resolve character arcs before the finale airs.
Perhaps many of these points of contention won’t be buttoned up until the podcast or the revival of the series, which is already beginning to be discussed. But it doesn’t seem fair to leave viewers hanging when they’ve spent the last six years devoted to this series. Let’s take a look at the characters and the issues that need resolution before we say goodbye to the residents of Beacon Hills.
Kate Argent Needs To Be Found And Destroyed
Presumably Kate will return in the last five episodes, but she had a fairly large arc previously, so having her pop in for one episode won’t do the character justice. On top of that, she was difficult to kill the first time around, so ending her life too easily will seem like a cop-out. If there is any justice, she’ll end her father, Gerard’s, life for Scott McCall’s pack, saving them some trouble.
Will We See Peter Hale again?
Derek’s uncle has been conspicuously missing from Beacon Hills this season even though he played a fairly substantial role in Season 6a. As Malia’s father, he wanted to protect her when she was in danger, and now that his daughter is being hunted, shouldn’t he be present? It’s a little disconcerting that he hasn’t shown up before now, and it will be disappointing if he isn’t present for a significant portion of the final episodes.
The Creature From The Wild Hunt Needs To Be Destroyed
Now that the town’s supernatural beings know they are being hunted by Gerard Argent’s team, their focus will shift to staying alive. Yet, there is a creature that needs to be dealt with, the one that is causing fears to escalate in Beacon Hills.
So along with fighting Argent, McCall’s pack will need to squeeze in time to eliminate this entity, and since this thing is a new introduction this season, it shouldn’t be disposed of too quickly or easily.
